This is the healthier version of the sweet, red chile sauce that you can buy bottled. This one has honey instead of sugar – and it is homemade! It is great as a dipping sauce. You can also marinate tofu in it and bake it.

Makes 1 cup
Preparation time: 20 minutes

3 large cloves of garlic
2 red chiles
1/4 cup of rice vinegar
1/2 cup of honey
3/4 cup water
1/2 tablespoon of salt
1 tablespoon of cornstarch

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend. Heat in a small sauce pan over medium to high heat for about 3-5 minutes. Add the cornstarch, stir, and keep it on medium heat for about 3 minutes until it begins to thicken.
